A season of planning and collaboration marked the past two months for Christ to the Philippines, Inc. (CTTP), alongside the transition of national directorship and efforts to strengthen leaders for discipleship and multiplication. Together, leaders prepared for greater impact in reaching more people for God’s glory.

CTTP National SCOM Maps the Future of the Ministry

Christ to the Philippines, Inc. National Stewardship Committee (SCOM) and the National Technical Team gathered on July 3, 2026, at Woodland Villa, Nagcarlan, Laguna for the Two-Year National Strategic Planning Meeting (2026–2028). As Rev. Johnny Espejo officially began serving as National Director, the gathering marked an important step in seeking God’s direction as CTTP continues the work He has entrusted to the organization. The day began with praise and worship, followed by a devotional from Psalm 73, reminding everyone that God's wisdom and presence must remain the foundation of every ministry decision.

A major highlight of the meeting was the collaborative review of the Two-Year Strategic Plan (2026–2028). Leaders carefully evaluated ministry initiatives, identified areas for improvement, and ensured that every goal remained aligned with CTTP's vision and mission. Throughout the discussions, one truth stood out: Leadership begins with Discipleship. While leadership training is important, participants emphasized that future leaders should first experience intentional spiritual growth, mentoring, and ministry before taking on greater responsibilities. This reflects CTTP's commitment to developing leaders whose character is firmly rooted in Christ. 

The meeting also focused on strengthening communication systems, mentoring relationships, ministry governance, leadership development, and the strategic use of technology. Initial plans for the 2028 National Convention were likewise introduced, with a vision to prepare the organization for even greater Kingdom impact in the years ahead.

One of the most encouraging moments was seeing emerging leaders actively contributing alongside seasoned pastors and ministry leaders. Their participation reflected a healthy culture of collaboration, learning, and shared responsibility for the future of the ministry.

As CTTP continues refining its strategic plans, may we remain united in pursuing God's vision with wisdom, humility, and faith. Together, we look forward to raising disciples who make disciples and leaders who faithfully advance God's Kingdom for generations to come.

47th National Convention Committee Reunites in Gratitude

On July 4, 2026, the 47th National Convention Committee and volunteers gathered at Woodland Villa, Nagcarlan, Laguna for a special thanksgiving celebration following the successful National Convention held last May 21 to 24, 2026.

The gathering was a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and celebrate God’s goodness throughout the convention. From the preparations to the actual event, the committee and volunteers experienced His faithfulness, provision, and strength as they served together.

More than just a celebration, the thanksgiving gathering was a reminder of the joy that comes from serving the Lord alongside fellow believers. Attendees enjoyed good food, swimming, fun games, and meaningful fellowship—creating an atmosphere of gratitude, laughter, and renewed relationships.

As the committee looked back on the National Convention, they gave thanks not only for what was accomplished, but most importantly for God who sustained and enabled everyone to serve with strength and joy.

CTTP CALABARZON District Holds Its First-Ever District Planning

With great enthusiasm, CTTP CALABARZON District convened its first District Planning on July 25, 2026 at CTTP Victoria, Laguna, carrying the theme “Future-Proof: Moving Forward through Transition & Integrated Growth.” The gathering brought together 61 participants representing 12 churches, including their respective outreaches. Pastors and emerging leaders across the district came together to strengthen unity, align ministry plans, and foster a unified and collaborative district-led ministry approach.

The program opened with a devotional message from Ptr. Arjay Cruzin, CALABARZON District Assistant Director, who underscored the fundamental building blocks for establishing a solid and lasting foundation for effective ministry. It was further enriched by the presence of the National Director, Rev. Johnny Espejo who presented the National Strategic Goals for 2026–2028, providing the district with clear direction and reinforcing alignment toward the organization’s broader vision and priorities. 

Furthermore, Rev. Voltaire Pablo III, CALABARZON District Director, highlighted the importance of an intentional and holistic approach to discipleship, emphasizing spiritual growth, leadership development, and faithful service in advancing the church’s vision and mission. He also provided key updates on the local churches within the district, covering financial, administrative, and ministry-related matters. 

The District Board of Trustees (DBOT) was also formally introduced, with Rev. Francis Iglesia serving as Chairman; Rev. Voltaire Pablo III as District Director; Ptr. Arjay Cruzin as Assistant Director; Ptr. Arlyn Zapanta as Secretary; and Ptr. Justino Pateño as Treasurer.

As the churches continue to navigate transition and growth, the gathering marked a significant step toward strengthening collaboration and establishing a shared direction across CALABARZON, laying the groundwork for more integrated, healthy, and sustainable ministry in the years ahead.

Called to Serve: IGM Leadership Seminar Strengthens Ministers and Leaders for Faithful Service 

Answering the call to grow deeper and stronger in their ministry, ministers and church leaders gathered in Woodland Villa, Nagcarlan, Laguna, from August 18 to 21, 2026 for the Leadership Seminar led by International Grace Ministries (IGM). The gathering brought together 88 participants: 78 from various CTTP churches and districts, along with 10 members of the IGM team.

More than a leadership training, the four-day seminar served as a time of spiritual strengthening and reflection, reminding ministers of their identity in Christ, their responsibility to lead, and their calling to care for the people God has entrusted to them.

The seminar opened with Ptr. James Shin’s session, “Identity of a Minister” in which he emphasized that ministers are called to be loyal servants of God, equipped to train others, grounded in good character, watchful over the church, and guided by God’s heart.

In her session, “All In!” Smn. Julie Shin encouraged participants to surrender their lives completely to God and serve for the name of Jesus rather than for personal recognition. “Whatever a human being truly needs, Jesus is the answer,” she said.

Ptr. Ben Kim’s session, “In and Out” addressed intentional growth, proper scheduling, willingness to be trained, and the importance of confronting sin and hidden struggles. Other discussions covered vision and goal-setting, ministry planning, personal and church finances, leadership development, and long-term discipleship.

During the “Sling and Rod” session, leaders were reminded that they cannot personally care for everyone. Instead, they were encouraged to invest intentionally in a few people who can eventually disciple and care for others. This reinforced the importance of multiplication and raising up leaders who will continue the work of ministry.

Throughout the seminar, the messages highlighted God’s grace in personal transformation, His love expressed through genuine care for people and families, and the victory found in serving through Jesus. The gathering concluded with a call to serve faithfully, grow intentionally, lead wholeheartedly, and make a name for Jesus.

LAMI Shares Disciple-Making Work and Future Plans with CTTP Leaders 

Representatives of Lakas Angkan Ministries, Inc. (LAMI) met with leaders of Christ to the Philippines, Inc. (CTTP) to present the organization’s history, disciple-making framework, current activities, and future initiatives.

LAMI was represented by National Director Ptr. Bonifacio M. Arzadon Jr., Ptr. Jovit Mar Bumarlong of Metro Manila, Ptr. Ricky Esternon and Bro. Ryan Jeffrey “Yuan” Custodio of Southern Luzon - Los Baños.

CTTP representatives included National Director Rev. Johnny M. Espejo, CTTP Nagcarlan Senior Pastor Rev. Voltaire P. Pablo III, Discipleship Head Rev. Miguel Pabilonia Jr., Rev. Sherwin Sandoval, Ptr. Norden Guevara, and other leaders from CTTP Batasan, Nagcarlan, Cavite, and Signal Village Church (SVC).

LAMI began in 1964 as a ministry to university students and became independent in 1978, later expanding to children, families, and local churches. In 2004, it adopted JMP 12×12×3 to multiply disciples through small groups. Today, LAMI focuses on evangelism, discipleship, leadership development, and multiplication through various outreach initiatives.

Moreover, LAMI advances discipleship through cell groups, Bible studies, mentoring, and programs such as Anak ng Diyos na may Relasyon sa Kanya (ARUGA) and the Honor God, Obey His Word, Model Christ, and Establish a culture of discipleship (H.O.M.E.). Leadership initiatives, including Cell Leader Development (CELLDEV), Continued Orientation and Coaching for Harvesters (COACH), Leaders’ Enhancement and Action Plan (LEAPS), equip disciples to train others, pioneer ministries, and establish churches.

Through these initiatives and partnerships with Lakas-Angkan Youth Fellowship (LAYF), the BALAY Support initiative, Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF), churches, campuses, and communities, LAMI continues to expand its reach, strengthen leaders, and mobilize disciples for evangelism, discipleship, and church multiplication.

As of June 2025, LAMI reported 18 ministries, 148 workers, 1,156 cell leaders, 1,736 cell groups, and eight international outreaches. Its Laguna ministry includes 114 cell groups, 98 cell leaders, 1,017 cell members, 16 Evangelistic Cells (E-Cells), 22 children’s E-Cells, two campuses, and 3 partner churches. 

The gathering highlighted the shared commitment of LAMI and CTTP to make disciples, develop leaders, establish new ministries, and continue their partnership in advancing Christ’s Kingdom.
