CTTP Bocaue leads Reset and Retreat Workshop

While February closed with a Reset and Retreat, March opened with another equipping  session on H.A.L.O, the main emphases of CTTP’s Christ Discipleship Roadmap (CDR) journey. Both gatherings were hosted by CTTP Bocaue from February 27 to March 1, 2026, gathering 32 participants from churches in Bocaue, Meycauyan, and Nagcarlan.  The sessions were meaningful and inspiring, marked by genuine eagerness to learn, openness in being vulnerable, and courage to take intentional steps in following the roadmap.

The team included seasoned and emerging leaders from CTTP Batasan, Nagcarlan, and Bulacan churches of Bocaue and Sta. Lucia, alongside current and incoming National Directors Rev. Voltaire Pablo and Rev. Johnny Espejo.

The Reset and Retreat also highlighted how the Lord continues to work through His people. Leaders who had attended previous retreats stepped up to serve and lead, their growth and willingness to give back becoming a testimony that inspired both participants and fellow team members.

Participants showed eagerness not only to learn but also to apply the principles of Holiness, Accountability, Love, and Obedience (H.A.L.O.) in daily life. These learning sessions became a time of renewal, growth, and strengthened commitment for everyone involved.

PGL Team

As a semi-annual retreat hosted by CTTP and IGM churches, the Philippine Glow of Love (PGL) #25 brought together 65 candidates and 116 team members from the Philippines and USA held on March 31- April 3, 2026, at St. Michael’s Retreat House in Antipolo, Rizal.

PGL #25’s theme centered on H.A.L.O., CTTP’s discipleship emphases designed to help believers grow not only in faith but in daily living. With the retreat’s goal of experiencing God’s love through other people, the program was filled with heartfelt worship, meaningful sessions, and joyful service of team members united in purpose.

Many participants testified to being refreshed, healed, and renewed in their commitment to walk with Christ. As CTTP and IGM continue their partnership in sharing Christ’s love, the next retreat, PGL #26, is set for October 27–30, 2026.

ID Convention 2026 highlights the call to multiply through discipleship

Ilocano District

With the theme “Multiplying Lives Through Discipleship,” the Ilocano District (ID) Convention gathered 38 delegates—14 pastors, 15 emerging leaders, and 9 church members—from 10 churches and one outreach at CTTP Taracay in Lenneng, Apayao. Held on March 20–21, 2026, the two‑day event became a meaningful time of spiritual renewal, leadership equipping, and fellowship across the district. The plenary sessions were led by Ptr. June Pateño of CTTP Tanay, Ptr. Johnny Espejo of CTTP Batasan, and Ptr. Voltaire Pablo of CTTP Nagcarlan.

Throughout the sessions, the speakers delivered clear, inspiring, and practical teachings that emphasized the heart of discipleship. A key highlight was the distinction between teaching, mentoring, and disciple-making. Teaching focuses on imparting biblical truth, doctrine, and knowledge so that learners may know God’s Word accurately. An example is teaching using a structured material such as the Knowing Christ (Pagkilala) manual, which helps believers grow in their understanding of the faith. Mentoring, on the other hand, emphasizes guidance, advice, encouragement, and wisdom, often focused on leadership or life development rather than full life replication. Disciple-making goes beyond teaching and mentoring by involving life-on-life formation, obedience, character transformation, and multiplication.

Participants were also challenged to examine their leadership through four essential areas: calling, compassion, communication, and character. These principles reminded leaders to stay anchored in their God-given purpose, lead people with genuine love, communicate the vision clearly, and live lives that reflect Christ. In addition, the introduction of the “4 I’s” of Discipleship: Identification, Instruction, Impartation, and Internship—provided a simple yet effective framework for nurturing and equipping future leaders within the church.

A reminder was made for them to live the journey on vulnerable discipleship. This is the willingness to live truthfully before God and others, fully exposed yet trusting that grace—not self-protection—will sustain a disciple. Rather than a weakness to be hidden, it is viewed as a prerequisite for receiving God's grace and building genuine community.

One of the most impactful takeaways was the emphasis on raising a “Timothy,” based on 2 Timothy 2:2, a reminder that true ministry is not limited to what we accomplish personally, but in the lives we invest in who will continue the work. Many participants shared heartfelt feedback, expressing gratitude for the teachings and reflecting on how they themselves were once discipled. This realization inspired a renewed commitment to intentionally disciple others, seeing it both as a responsibility and a privilege.

The presence of the visiting speakers was deeply appreciated, especially considering the distance they traveled to minister to the district. Their warmth, humility, and passion created an engaging and welcoming atmosphere, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present. Participants were encouraged, refreshed, and reignited in their calling to serve with joy and dedication.

Overall, the Ilocano District Convention was a fruitful and transformative gathering that strengthened faith, deepened relationships, and reinforced the mission of multiplying through intentional discipleship.

SBD Convention 2026 strengthens discipleship and leadership

Equipping leaders

On April 10–11, 2026, the South Bicol District (SBD) Convention at Antonia’s Restaurant and Event’s Place, Maroroy, Daraga, Albay brought together 40 delegates from 12 churches for a concentrated time of teaching, fellowship, and Spirit‑led encouragement. SBD’s representative to the National Board of Trustees, Ptr. Raymond Mayor, and his church hosted the convention.

National Director Rev. Voltaire Pablo III opened with a message on vulnerable discipleship, reminding leaders that openness before God and others is the pathway to healing and transformation. Ptr. Sherwin Sandoval, CTTP’s Head of Church Planting, followed with a series of sessions: Legacy in Motion, which highlighted God’s role in shaping the next generation of leaders; Developing Leaders by Apprenticeship, which offered practical steps for mentoring through prayer, guidance, and hands‑on training; and Be Intentional in Investing in Others, which challenged participants to invest time and life into people who will themselves become disciple‑makers.

Day two featured Rev. Miguelito Pabilonia Jr., Head of National Discipleship, who drew clear distinctions between teaching, mentoring, and disciple‑making. His interactive session reminded delegates that while teaching informs and mentoring guides, discipleship transforms lives and multiplies leaders.

With open forums, practical frameworks, and inspiring challenges, the convention concluded with renewed commitments to raise leaders, invest in people, and continue multiplying disciples for Christ.
